Mallard Grange B&B - Ripon

Just wish the shower had a bit more pressure, though.

My room was spotless and modern, and the staff were LOVELY. I greatly enjoyed its location, it was amazing and particularly good in the field.

It was an exceptionally comfortable and fascinating hotel with garden views and free Wi-Fi. Superior room was romantic and huge had down pillows. The bed was exceptionally comfortable & the bathroom was good size. The staff was very welcoming and good and the owner too.

You must try the breakfast! It's a hearty feast with locally sourced goodies, including the heavenly black pudding. The room was warm and spacious, and waking up to the farm's animal sounds was a delight. Plus, it's just a short stroll to Fountains Abbey, a must-see!

Check-out was a tad early at 10am, but Maggie graciously extended it to 11am, so not all was lost!

Maggie's personal hosting style and attention to guest comfort made us feel at home.

The stairs can be a bit steep, which might pose challenges with mobility issues.

Just back from an amazing stay at Mallard Grange! Huge comfy room with lovely touches like quality toiletries. Breakfast on locally sourced food was very nice, especially the black pudding! A few challenging stairs, but the cozy farm atmosphere made it all worthwhile.

Loved the comfy room, though check-out was a bit early for us.

Lovely escape to Ripon 🌾🐄

Brekkie was just superb! So much choice, and the food was really great. The room was massive and always warm-was like a lekker little hideaway. Plus, the location is spot on for visiting Fountains Abbey. You can just pop over for a stroll!

Just a heads-up, it can get a bit dusty from the farm, so don't rock up in your best shoes!

Just spent 2 nights here and it was awesome! The room was spacious and super clean, and the shower was great. Maggie's friendliness. Breakfast was a highlight-seriously delicious. A little more shelf space for toiletries would've been nice, but everything else was spot on. Picnic area outside was perfect for a quick bite!

Mallard grange is a lovely spot near the market square, which has been vibrant for over 1100 years. Everything about our stay was first class, especially the breakfast that had a wonderful variety, showcasing local ingredients. The service was really good. The friendliness of the staff stood out.

We totally recommend this hotel to everyone. The staff were super and the breakfast was the best for 2 vegetarians. Greatly enjoyed the extremely spacious rooms.

The location here is within walking distance to a market and shops, which is great, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful for two vegetarians, and the food was excellent.
